Brown and Yellow Bird Attempt Two-Acrylic Paint

After getting to the point I got on this piece I decided to leave it where it was as I felt it wasn’t going to improve and this would give me more time to produce more work. When comparing this piece to piece 7 I realised that the wings were proving a problem to capture using this technique whilst doing so to a high level. However I am happy with the fact this bird appears more textured in its body than the bird in the previous piece. I think this is because the colours were much easier to blend around and into one another because they were more evenly matched. I feel a little disheartened after two pieces not being as successful as I would have liked. I do not want to do another piece in this style as I feel it is slowing my progress in the project and is not allowing me to improve my skills as much as I would like.
